A puppet is a magical being. Creating ours is about opening ourselves to an intimate relationship with a being from our imagination, who comes to turn everything upside down with its charm and quirky ways. You tame it. It asks you to draw a sheep, a garden of roses, a fox, planets, and stars... And hand in hand with your Little Prince, or your Princess, you embark on a journey into your heart. You dive into a world of colors and fragrances: the vibrant green of an English garden's scents, with hints of lilac, the sweet orange of Andalusia under its cobalt sky and laughing sun.
Puppetry sits at the crossroads of visual arts, theater, music, movement, staging, and writing, to create worlds where imagination comes to life. Since antiquity, humans have always felt the need to shape stories and figurines in their image, and despite its rarity today, puppetry continues to amaze those who encounter it.
In Greek mythology, Terpsichore, whose name means "delight in dancing," is one of the nine Muses and the goddess of dance and chorus. Meet the Birds of Terpsichore: Wolfie, Pablina, their daughter Petite Fleur, and Victor, the wise grandfather.
This section will take you through their creation, performances, and a collection of photos from our adventures together.
